Project Limits

Enhanced pedestrian crossings will be installed at the following locations:

• Boise Avenue and 16th Street
• Boise Avenue and 19th Street
• Boise Avenue and Silver Leaf Drive

Proposed Project Schedule

• Construction start: Mid-to-late June 2026 

Background

The Boise Avenue project will install enhanced pedestrian crossing signals and make intersection improvements recommended by the North Boise Avenue Corridor Study Report conducted in 2016. Work will include adding median islands, pedestrian signals and curb extensions with enlarged sidewalk landing areas at three essential intersections along Boise Avenue.
