Proposed Project Schedule

Background

The mini roundabout at 1st Street and Crestone Drive (CR 21) was built in 2020 as a temporary traffic solution until future development occurs on nearby properties to the south.

Since then, the pavement has deteriorated faster than expected, and residents have often shared concerns about a rough, uncomfortable ride.

The Street Maintenance and Rehabilitation Program (SMRP) had originally planned to resurface the roundabout in 2024. This work was postponed to 2025 to allow for a more thorough repair that will improve ride quality and address underlying pavement issues for a longer-lasting solution.
