How can we help you?
Whether it's snow removal, repaving roads, picking up trash or building infrastructure for the City of Loveland -- our department manages these tasks with a powerful team at its side. There are numerous tools the Public Works Department provides to assist with community requests. They are the following:
- ReCollect - a downloadable app to remind you when your trash, recycling or yard waste carts should be out for collection.
- Waste Wizard - search what item should or should not be recycled, plus what can be dropped off at our Recycling Center.
- Report A Concern - do you have a concern that our department should be aware of? You can report those concerns by filling out any of these forms:
- Cone Zone - learn where the construction is located around the City of Loveland. The map and report is updated weekly.
- Street Sweeping - our department sweeps neighborhoods citywide twice a year in May and November. Learn when we'll be in your area by clicking on the Street Sweeping map.
- Mosquito Control - The City of Loveland contracts with Vector Disease Control International (VDCI) to manage our seasonal mosquito control. The Loveland spray schedule is listed under Larimer County.
- Snow Removal - the City prioritizes snow removal services by four lane arterial streets, which carries the most traffic, plus two lane thoroughfares. Next, our crews tackle streets that are heavily used as collector streets, school bus routes and commercial/industrial zones. Residential neighborhoods are not plowed except for heavy snowfalls.
