Restrooms at Shelter #2 are open daily, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., year-round.
Spray Park Hours
The spray park is typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day (weather permitting). Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday through Monday.
The Spray Park may be opened earlier in May, as part of the annual "Kids to Park Day" event (weather permitting).
If you arrive to the spray park during open hours, and the features are not spraying, please note that the 12" activation sensor is now located on the edge of the splash pad area. Look for a yellow and red sensor which will react to your hand waiving in front of it to detect movement and turn on the water for you.
Periodically, the spray park may be turned off for maintenance purposes, which will be listed on the Detours & Closures page. Alternative water features include the spray park area at Fairgrounds Park and the water feature at Mehaffey Park.
Park Hours
To prevent turf damage and ensure public safety, the recreation areas and sports fields at Loveland Sports Park are closed for general use during the winter months. The only exception is the Championship Field, which will be maintained and available by reservation only.
During periods of snow and ice, the park is temporarily closed to the public until snow removal operations are complete.
During the warmer months (when no ice or snow is present) the park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
