If a facility has not been reserved at least seven (7) days in advance, it is available for public use on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note electricity is only available for paid reservations.

To check availability visit our reservation page ONLINE.  Using the filters, enter the preferred date and a list of shelters will appear.  Hover over the "Book now" area to see if the shelter is available.  To further refine your search you can enter a park location in the filter. Please do not enter a time or you will receive no results.

ONLINE
Please review the specific park locations to decide which area you would like to reserve. Choose to reserve ONLINE or in person. Due to the forms requiring signatures, reservations cannot be made over the phone.

Be sure to print out your receipt upon completing your transaction and take it with you to the facility
at the time of your reservation.

Your receipt should also include a copy of the park rules & regulations. If you did NOT receive this, please call 970.962.2727 or email parks@cityofloveland.org to have one sent to you.

WALK-IN
To schedule a walk-in appointment for a park shelter reservation, please call 970.962.2727.

Deposits

Deposits are secured at the time of reservation to ensure proper clean-up, orderly conduct and compliance with park rules and regulations. Please have members of your group observe all posted Rules and Regulations. Deposits are refunded within two (2) weeks after the reservation, provided there are no damages or park policy violations. When you make the reservation, you will be asked if you would like the deposit refunded back to your card, or if you would like a check mailed to you.

*Please note cards only remain in the system for 44 days. If you reserve the shelter more than 44 days in advance, you will receive a check in the mail for your deposit refund. To ensure you receive your check, make sure we have your correct address on file.

Cancellations or Changes

Shelters

Cancellations are assessed a $50 fee and must be received at least three (3) weeks prior to the reservation date by the person who made the original reservation. All attempts will be made to reschedule your date. If that is not possible, a refund of the fee and deposit (less the $50 fee) will be issued within two (2) weeks. If the cancellation is less than three (3) weeks prior to the reservation, the deposit will be withheld, and a refund of the reservation fee will be issued.

Changes to the date or location of a reservation must be received more than two (2) weeks of the reservation date, otherwise a $30 fee will be assessed. A change to add an alcohol permit to an existing reservation may be made up to one week in advance of the reservation date.

Weather

Severe weather refunds can be made by contacting the Parks & Recreation Office the following business day after a reservation. Call 970.962.2727 or email parks@cityofloveland.org to see if parks staff has determined if the weather situation warrants a refund. Please note that typical weather for the season up to and including rain, wind, and cold is not considered severe and will not result in shelter refunds.  Only severe weather events will result in reservation refunds.

Shelter Electricity

Electricity at park shelters is only available with a paid reservation.

Restrooms

Flush restrooms are open at the parks April 1 - End of October. Port-o-lets are available during the Winter months. If you have questions regarding restrooms at a specific park, contact the administration office at 970.962.2727 or email parks@cityofloveland.org.

ADA Accessibility

All shelters, pavilions and gazebos are ADA accessible.
