Parks in Loveland, Open to Public Use
The City of Loveland Parks and Recreation Department maintains a variety of parks throughout the community—from neighborhood green spaces and scenic corridors to large parks with restrooms, playgrounds, and gazebos, shelters, or pavilions that may be available for reservation. Some parks are also open to the public but are maintained by homeowners' associations (HOAs).
The table below lists which park shelters are reservable or non-reservable. Please note that even if a shelter is non-reservable, other amenities at that park—such as athletic fields or courts—may still be available for reservation.

Park Facility Rules & Regulations
Park Hours
Most Loveland parks are open daily from 6 a.m. - 10:30 p.m., unless otherwise specified on-site. However, Loveland Sports Park hours vary depending on the season. Please refer to specific park web pages or call
For non-emergency park and shelter related issues outside of business hours, please call 970.962.2730.
Park Power/Electricity
Power/electricity at Loveland park shelters is available with a paid reservation. Power is not available without a paid reservation.

2025 Park Amenities Winterization
As we prepare for colder weather, several park amenities will be closed for the season to protect infrastructure and ensure safety.
Most park restrooms will close for winter starting end of day, November 2.
Restroom Closures
Flush restrooms that will remain open daily starting November 3 include:
- Benson Sculpture Garden, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Loveland Sports Park Shelter #2, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Willow Bend Park, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ADA accessible port-a-lets will be available at:
- Barnes Park, fields 5 & 6
- Centennial Park, east parking lot
- Dwayne Webster Park
- Fairgrounds Dog Park
- Mehaffey Park, south
- Namaqua Park
- North Lake Park, main
- Seven Lakes Park
Drinking Fountains and Jug Fillers:
- By October 13, all stand-alone drinking fountains and dog park jug fillers will be winterized.
- By November 7, all remaining drinking fountains will be winterized.
