Hiring Process

The City of Loveland is committed to employing qualified candidates through competitive hiring practices.  This structured process may include phone screening, assessments, exercises or activities, and panel interviews. Candidates knowledge, skills, and abilities are evaluated based on specific job criteria identified in the job posting.  We encourage interested candidates to thoroughly document knowledge, skills, and abilities applicable to the position.  Applications are required for all positions.  Resumes and cover letters are encouraged and for some positions, may be required as noted on the job advertisement.

The City of Loveland has a self-insured medical plan.
