Home MenuCommunity Conversation
Community conversations about homelessness are designed to hear people’s aspirations and concerns and to find common ground among diverse groups. This conversation is not designed to find an immediate solution for winter shelter. To date, the City of Loveland has hosted events with several stakeholder groups.
Registration for the next Community Conversation closed 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30. After registration, participants are selected using an automated random number generator. If you are selected, you will receive an email or phone call asking you to confirm your availability to participate. If someone not able to participate, additional participants will be selected using the same random process from the remaining registrants.
The next session is a continuation of gathering residents’ perspectives, held Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m. at the Chilson Senior Center’s Cherry Room, 700 E. 4th St., with pre-registration required due to space limitations.
Future meetings will be considered based on community interest.
To ensure meaningful engagement, the Harwood model for conversations is used to moderate these events. This approach is grounded in intentionality and relies on small groups, ensuring productive dialogue that allows all attendees an opportunity to actively participate and be heard.
