Since 2016, Loveland has been working on solutions to address homelessness, including strategic planning efforts and community resources.

The focus now is bringing the community together to talk about what solutions could be possible in the short and long term. Short-term solutions have not been identified yet, but several discussions are taking place.

Addressing homelessness requires collaboration and resources. While the City can no longer lead this effort, we remain committed to being a community partner. With that in mind, the City is engaging various groups including nonprofits, faith groups, businesses, and residents to explore long-term, community-driven solutions.

Building upon local efforts, The Regional Homelessness Strategy Across Larimer County provides a shared vision and framework for a more coordinated response across Larimer County and Northern Colorado. Developed by Homeward Alliance in partnership with Larimer County, Fort Collins, Loveland, Estes Park, and the Northern Colorado Continuum of Care, the plan is grounded in extensive stakeholder engagement, data collection and analysis, and national best practices.
