The City Attorney’s Office is the legal advisor representing City of Loveland governance and operations in city-specific legal matters, including but not limited to: preparing and reviewing ordinances, contacts, resolutions, and other legal documents, representing the City of Loveland in judicial and administrative proceedings, providing city-specific legal review, and assisting City staff in upholding the City Charter and Municipal Code. The City Attorney’s Office also provides prosecution of violations of the Loveland Municipal Code before the Loveland Municipal Court, and licensing enforcement actions before the city's administrative bodies.
