One City, one look: City of Loveland announces effort to strengthen unified brand, web experience

Post Date:05/01/2026 11:23 a.m.

The City of Loveland is launching a long-term initiative to create a more consistent and user-friendly experience across City communication and online services.

Starting later this year, some City of Loveland buildings, departments, and services that use unique logos or branding will sunset those designs and adopt the City of Loveland’s logo and branding instead. Additionally, some City departments and services that currently have their own websites outside of lovgov.org will join the City website. Changes will occur between late 2026 and 2028 and will be timed with regular replacement cycles to use City resources responsibly.

Loveland City Manager Jim Thompson said a more unified approach will help residents connect to their government more easily in a streamlined, connected way.

“As we plan for the future, we're moving toward a more unified communication strategy that spans departments and elevates the full breadth of services and programs we provide. At the heart of this effort is a simple idea: One City. One Team. One Unified Experience,” Thompson said.

Logos and Branding

Golf Loveland, the Loveland Police Department, Northern Colorado Law Enforcement Training Center, Northern Colorado Regional Airport, Pulse, the Loveland Sweetheart Festival, and Visit Loveland are expected to retain their unique logos and branding.

Programs that will transition to using the unified City logo and branding include:

  • Art in Public Places

  • Chilson Recreation & Senior Center

  • City of Loveland Transit (COLT)

  • Cultural Services, Loveland Public Library, Open Lands & Trails, and Parks and Recreation (which are merging into a single department)

  • The Development Center

  • Let’s Talk Loveland

  • Loveland Museum and the Beet Education Center

  • Loveland Utilities Commission

  • Pulliam Community Building

  • Rialto Theater

  • Small Fries Childcare Program

  • Winona Pool

Website Integration

To make online navigation easier, many City-managed websites will eventually move to the City’s website. Others will continue to operate as standalone sites but remain connected to the City's website for clarity and access.

Websites expected to integrate into the City’s website are:

  • Art in Public Places

  • Golf Loveland

  • Loveland Business

  • Loveland Economic Development

  • Loveland Museum

  • Loveland Police

  • Loveland Public Library

  • Loveland Utilities

  • Rialto Theater

The Northern Colorado Law Enforcement Training Center and Northern Colorado Regional Airport, which the City of Loveland co-owns with the City of Fort Collins, and fiber internet provider Pulse will continue to have their own websites.
