Because this is a weather event, conditions can change quickly, and because it’s been unseasonably dry, conditions can result the development of wildfires and strong winds can fuel the potential for rapid fire growth.

Here are a few tips that can help residents prepare:

  • Avoid outdoor burning or any activity that may cause sparks.

  • Secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.
