SUMMARY:Volunteer Training - Environmental Education - CSI (Critter Scene Investigation Program)
DESCRIPTION:<p><a href="https://offero.cityofloveland.org/ActivityVolunteerRegistration/c3c0bcf8-5b05-451d-915d-20aba5182222" target="_blank">This free training</a> is available&nbsp;for any adult interested in presenting educational programs to young school children about Colorado wildlife. During Critter Scene Investigation field trip programs, students move from station to station collecting clues for their investigation, with volunteers helping them narrow down the wildlife suspects. </p><p>Each volunteer staffs one animal suspect table, hosting small groups of 5 to 8 children at a time, in grades K-1, as they rotate through the stations. Our free training includes experiencing all of the animal stations and covers the logistics of set-up, station rotations, and tear-down. This training for 2025-26 school year&nbsp;CSI programs will cover&nbsp;<em>The Case of the Feather Fluff Puff</em>.&nbsp;</p><p>For more information and curriculum details, see our <a href="https://www.lovgov.org/services/parks-recreation/open-lands-natural-areas/volunteer-opportunities-environmental-education-2022">Volunteer Opportunities and Environmental Education web page</a>.
