DESCRIPTION:<p><a href="https://offero.cityofloveland.org/ActivityVolunteerRegistration/3f28b30d-b2ca-4c45-8bb3-cb4901125ff0" target="_blank">This free training</a> is available for any adult to help present field trip programs to local school groups at small group learning stations and on short hikes at River's Edge Natural Area. Plants &amp; Places programs are offered to 2nd and 3rd grade students on field trips to River's Edge Natural Area. </p><p>Learning station topics cover information about the parts and lifecycles of plants, the importance of cottonwood galleries, how seeds are spread, using a low-power microscope to look at plant parts, and what poison ivy really looks like in this area. Also includes a relay race activity, and the Sun, Soil, Water and Air game.&nbsp;<br><br>Training starts with a 30-minute preview, then stay for training if it appeals to you, no obligation to commit to teaching at this time.
