Interested in sewing and upcycling? Learn how to use the library’s sewing machines and create your own dinosaur plushie! In this hands-on sewing workshop, teens age 11-17, or attending grades 6-12, will learn to use the library sewing machines and can earn a certification to sew independently in the future. We’ll put those skills to work by transforming repurposed gloves into stuffed dinosaurs to take home. This beginner-friendly program encourages creativity, sustainability, and DIY crafting. Teens can complete this project with a sewing machine or by hand sewing, making it great for both beginner and experienced crafters. Sewing machines are limited and registration is required.
