Cycle Wise Safety Workshop

Hop on, gear up and ride safe!

Kick off Walk and Bike Month by joining us June 6 for a morning of fun, learning and cycling confidence.

  • Guided, real world practice with safety experts
  • Engaging, skill focused coaching for all ability levels
  • Practical, on-the-bike instruction to boost safe riding habits
What we’ll cover
  • The ME Check
  • Helmet Fitting
  • A-B-C Quick Check
  • Bike Rodeo Skills Course

Participants will rotate through fun, hands-on skill-building stations:

  • Power starts and quick stops
  • Straight-line riding and weaving
  • Obeying traffic signs and crosswalks
  • Yielding, scanning, signaling and turning
  • RR crossing awareness
  • Balance exercises (e.g., snail race)
  • Safe communication: calling your stop
What to bring
  • A bike in good, working order
  • A properly fitted helmet
