National Trails Day Volunteer Project

Join the Open Lands & Trails team to celebrate National Trails Day with a volunteer trail stewardship project!  Volunteers will help improve and re-surface trails with new crusher-fine material.

No experience needed, all tools and supplies provided. Closed-toe shoes recommended, along with a hat, sunscreen, work gloves, and a water bottle. We'll bring extra gloves, snacks, and water. Registration strongly encouraged, for planning purposes and notification of changes.

Take the National Trails Day® pledge to leave trails and the outdoor community better than you found them, and be entered to win outdoor gear prize packs valued at $1,500+ from event sponsors!

National Trails Day will also be celebrated with Bike & Trails Day at the Farmers Market on Sunday, June 2!  This fun community event will take place at Fairgrounds Park in conjunction with the Sunday Farmers Market, in celebration of all things trail-related. See Offero to details.

Walk or ride your bike to the project using the Loveland Recreation Trail.

Sponsored by the Open Lands and Trails divisions of Loveland Parks & Recreation
